These different materials give huge variation in ‘performance’ so don’t immediately just go for the cheapest option… you may find that you get better value for money from one of the more expensive products in the long run. For example some of the small bags of silica litter can last a single cat over a month, and need scooping once or twice in that period, which compares really favourably with some of the wood / paper products on the market.
