Cat Litter Tray

Having great cat litter for cat is only part of the mix… equally important is the cat litter tray you use. Often people go for cheap without considering the benefits that a slightly more expensive tray can bring namely: odour enclosure. With a high quality covered cat litter tray, you have a much greater chance of keeping the stink in, especially when it comes to freshly laid poos.

In fact, there are some great trays out there… the one I use personally is the Roll ‘N Clean litter tray, which filters all the stools out of the litter for you, without you having to get in there with a scoop or spade type instrument.  There’s a handy video on the linked page showing you how the tray works if you’re interested.

One other thing to bear in mind, make sure that the tray is deep enough for your cat so that when he starts scratting around, the litter doesn’t spill from the tray, not just as a kitten, but when he’s a fully grown cat.
